THE IDEA

Every learner can access complex ideas - regardless of a label or diagnosis.

RPM stands for Rapid Prompting Method - the origin of spelled communication.

We use academics to build language, communication, and critical thinking. I'm an RPM L2 Provider and the founder of Non Linear Education.

In an RPM session

What your child actually does

 1

Grade-level academics

Age-appropriate content - not sorting, not matching.

 2

Spell to communicate

Age-appropriate content - not sorting, not matching.

 3

Think critically

Develop reasoning through structured, academic prompts.

Spelling is not a prerequisite for academic learning. It grows because of it.

FOR YOUR CHILD IF …

The learner

✓  Is non-speaking or unreliable with speech.

✓ Seems to understand more than they can show.

✓ Has been waiting on “readiness” for too long.

✓ Needs real academics - not endless puzzles.

FOR YOU IF …

The grown-up

✓  You've tried many techniques and academics still feel out of reach.

✓  You teach Autistic learners or students with Down Syndrome.

✓  You're a spelling practitioner (RPM / S2C / Spellers) unsure how to advance Math or Science.

Math & Science lessons

Rigorous. Joyful. For real.

Over 15 years I've taught Math and Science to neurodivergent learners - including many spellers - using my trademarked Non Linear Education strategy.

 Age-appropriate | Rigorous | Joyful | Online & in person

What this is not: modified curriculum or dumbed-down content.

"

The problem is not Autism, or Down Syndrome, or a cognitive delay.

— Dr. Vaish Sarathy

HELLO, I'M VAISH

I built this because I needed it.

I'm a Math and Science teacher and mom to Sid Ghosh - a non-speaking Autistic teen with Down Syndrome who is also a published poet.

When Sid was 9, I taught him the Binary Number System using these same strategies. What I discovered - for him, and hundreds of learners since - is that the problem is not Autism, or Down Syndrome, or a cognitive delay.

I'm an RPM L2 Provider (training to L3) and have spent the last decade building a framework where every student experiences the joy of real learning.
